Bulk Distribution is the foundational use case for the Visium Platform, and in many ways the simplest. Your video provider deploys a gateway at your property. It ingests content from your provider’s network, creates a private broadcast network on-premises and distributes a fixed channel lineup to every screen. It sits in your IDF and runs, with no ongoing management, no app layer and nothing to reconfigure when satellite transponders move or your downstream endpoints change.
If you deploy Bulk Distribution, you get the same channel lineup delivered consistently for years without intervention. That’s the point. It’s infrastructure, not software.
When you need centralized screen control, digital signage or per-room experience management, Visium Venue and Visium View build on that same gateway hardware and add those capabilities on top. But if reliable, secure content delivery is all you need, Bulk Distribution is the right answer.

Same hardware, right-sized for your property
Bulk Distribution runs on the same Visium gateway hardware as the rest of the platform. Choose based on your property size and content delivery method, from fixed-configuration gateways for smaller venues to modular blade chassis for larger deployments.
Visium MD Mini and Visium MD8/16 gateways ingest content from satellite, ABR streaming and IP multicast sources and distribute it across the property. Fixed-configuration for smaller venues, modular blade chassis for larger deployments.
Pro:Idiom content decryption and QAM or IP output for MSO and hospitality environments. Handles encrypted satellite and IP multicast inputs with end-to-end content security maintained throughout.
