ATX Networks Appoints Tom McLaughlin as CEO
SAN DIEGO, July 29, 2024 – ATX Networks, a global leader in broadband access and media distribution solutions, today announced the appointment of Tom McLaughlin as Chief Executive Officer. McLaughlin succeeds Dan Whalen, who is stepping down as CEO, effective immediately.
McLaughlin is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience leading and growing access technology businesses that provide innovative solutions and services for global communications service providers. He joins ATX to drive the Company toward a new era of profitable growth with a focus on innovation and operational execution.

McLaughlin most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Media Technologies, a leading value-added reseller of CATV and broadband electronic equipment. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in pushing new growth initiatives, driving both top- and bottom-line performance, and achieving key strategic objectives. Prior to that, McLaughlin held executive positions across leading technology companies, including CommScope, Arris International and Motorola.
