Cisco Prepares to Unplug Its Cable Amps

Light Reading – In another signal that Cisco Systems is de-emphasizing its cable hardware strategy, the vendor recently alerted customers that it will halt the sale of its family of GainMaker cable amplifiers starting next fall.
