Things to Know

What expenses are eligible for reimbursement?

Participants will be reimbursed for lodging and airfare. Participants will not be required to provide itemized receipts, instead, each participant will be given $1,500 in equipment credits to cover the cost of the trip. Credits will be issued after the event concludes.

When should I arrive and depart?

Please plan to arrive on Tuesday, September 10th – no later than 3:00 PM in order to check into the hotel and attend the Welcome Reception/Dinner at 6:00 PM Participants are strongly encouraged to stay for the closing reception at ATX’s office. To maximize our time together, please plan to depart no earlier than 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 11th. We suggest booking a 9:30 PM flight for Wednesday at the very earliest, or schedule your departing flight anytime on Thursday, September 12th.

Which airport should I fly into?

San Diego International Airport in San Diego, CA (35 Miles from ATX HQ) is the main airport to fly into, but feel free to fly into any smaller regional airports if cost and schedule permit.

Do you have suggestions for hotel accommodations?

Please book at either of the following hotels – 3 miles away from ATX’s office.

May I bring a companion?

The DISH Business Tech Summit is a corporate training and networking event, therefore bringing companions is strongly discouraged during the week. Should you choose to bring a companion, we will not be able to accommodate them in group meal functions or activities.

Are shuttles provided for ground transportation?

Attendees are responsible for making transportation arrangements for the entirety of the event. This includes scheduling transportation to/from the airport as well as arranging transportation between the hotel and ATX Carlsbad office.

What is the dress code?

The general dress code is business casual for this event (jeans acceptable).
