Things to Know

What expenses are eligible for reimbursement?

ATX will make hotel reservations for all attendees based on the information provided in the registration form. The event will cover the cost of lodging and applicable taxes during the program dates, so participants will not need to make their own hotel reservations. Upon check-in, however, each attendee should be prepared to provide a credit card for incidental charges. Participants will be reimbursed for airfare. Itemized receipts will not be required; instead, each participant will receive $1,000 in equipment credits to cover the cost of the trip. These credits will be issued after the event concludes.

When should I arrive and depart?

Please plan to arrive on Wednesday, October 15th – no later than 11:00 AM in order to check into the hotel/drop your luggage off and attend the Welcome Kickoff at 1:00 PM. Participants are strongly encouraged to stay for the closing reception at ATX’s office. To maximize our time together, please plan to depart no earlier than 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 16th. We suggest booking a 9:30 PM flight for Thursday at the very earliest, or schedule your departing flight anytime on Friday, October 17th.

Which airport should I fly into?

San Diego International Airport in San Diego, CA (35 Miles from ATX HQ) is the main airport to fly into, but feel free to fly into any smaller regional airports if cost and schedule permit.

What are the hotel accommodations?

We will take care of your hotel reservations using the information you provided in the registration form. The event will cover the cost of your room and applicable taxes for all attendees during the program dates. However, when you check in, please be prepared to present a credit card to cover any incidental expenses during your stay.

May I bring a companion?

The Dish Business Tech Summit is a corporate training and networking function, therefore bringing companions is strongly discouraged during the event. Should you choose to bring a companion, we will not be able to accommodate them in group meal functions or activities.

Are shuttles provided for ground transportation?

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the airport, as well as between the hotel and the ATX office. The one exception is on Wednesday afternoon, we’ll provide a charter bus from the ATX Carlsbad office for the team building and dinner events, with return service to the hotel at the end of the evening.

What is the dress code?

The general dress code is business casual for this event (jeans acceptable).
