GigaXtend GMC Series 1.2GHz Amplifiers

ATX GigaXtend™ GMC Series 1.2GHz amplifiers are the only authorized replacement actives for the installed base of GainMaker® amplifiers. Based on design documents and other intellectual property acquired from Cisco in 2020, GigaXtend 1.2GHz Line Extenders and System Amplifiers provide a seamless upgrade path to 1.2GHz for the GainMaker installed base.

GigaXtend 1.2GHz amplifiers enable cable operators to upgrade the capacity and performance of their HFC networks while realizing significant reductions in operational costs and complexity. GigaXtend 1.2GHz amplifiers exempt GainMaker customers from retraining technicians or installers, redesigning cabinets containing current amps or conducting extensive testing or verification that’s often required with the introduction of new equipment into the network.

In addition, GigaXtend 1.2GHz amplifiers can be seamlessly upgraded to GigaXtend 1.8GHz through simple module replacement procedures.
