Features
HFC Enhance Drop-in Node Upgrade Modules
- Allows for an overall node performance enhancement in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner
- A variety of laser technologies (F-P, DFB, CWDM) and powers (0-3 mW) allows operators to satisfy any application
- Dual transmitter option in the module increases number of return path segmentations possible and/or offers an option for implementing fiber link redundancy
- Dual transmitter option (module specific) in conjunction with CWDM allows for ultra space-efficient node segmentation solutions
- Low input requirement on receiver modules (-8 to +2 dBm) in conjunction with high RF output allow operators to split forward path without degrading CNR
- Unique low power designs minimize thermal dissipation thereby increasing module performance and lifetime
- See individual module datasheets for more details
HFC Enhance Node Segmentation Solutions
- ATX’s HFC Enhance segmentation solutions allows operators to segment legacy/unsupported nodes both cost-effectively and with minimal customer service disruption
- ATX’s transmitters and receivers ensure optimum network performance is achieved
- Use of WDM/CWDM/DWDM technology allows for full segmentation up to full 4×4 without the requirement for additional fibers
- Far more cost-effective solution versus deploying new nodes when viewed from a capital expenditure and labor standpoint
- Designed for easy installation to minimize customer service disruption time
